JP Morgan’s new savings account has caught the attention of financial experts. This week, Martin Lewis recommended it again and featured it on his show as the “best bank account” for spending abroad.
JP Morgan Chase’s digital savings account has been attracting expert interest for weeks, with Martin Lewis speaking again this week.
During an hour-long Martin Lewis Money Show cost-of-living special, Mr Lewis said that while it’s the best card for spending abroad, it’s not bad nor for expenditure in the United Kingdom.
The card offers free spending abroad, which can help people save a fortune on vacation.
It also offers 1% cashback on all purchases, so it’s great for saving money in the UK too.

Since its launch, JP Morgan Chase’s Chase Bank has also run a refer-a-friend rewards program where people can earn up to £400.
All they need to do is open the Chase app on their phone, go to “Rewards”, select “Refer a Friend” and press start.
They will need to join Chase using the referrer link and pay £20 within 30 days of opening an account for both parties to receive £20 – if everyone signs up and meets the criteria, that’s £400.
Deborah Keay, Chase’s UK marketing director, said she hoped the new referral offer would make it easier for Chase to be recommended.
The Chase Savings Account offers:
- 1% cash back on daily spend
- Zero fees and charges
- Free additional accounts
- Small rounds of change that earn five percent interest.
