DENVER – Supporting Denver schools and the Denver community has never been easier! With a swipe of the Cyclone Rewards debit card, Denver Savings Bank is donating 5 cents to Denver schools. Since 2017, DSB has donated over $ 16,000 to the school system, with 2021 being our largest donation to date – over $ 6,000!
President and CEO Ryan Sheridan said, “We have always been community driven. We created this account to support Denver Community Schools with a swipe of your debit card. Not only does it rewards schools, but it rewards the customer by recovering 10 cents from their bank account per swipe on qualifying transactions. It’s a great way to show our Cyclone pride.
Dan Cooper, Instrumental Music Teacher at Denver Schools, says, “One of the best things about DSB is the way they give back. The Cyclone Rewards account made huge donations to schools in Denver and we were able to purchase a new instrument for the band with that donation. We replaced an instrument that the school had been using since 1970! Now, thanks to the Cyclone Rewards donation, children of the next 50 years will have a beautiful instrument to play!
Denver Savings Bank has an ambitious goal of donating $ 10,000 or more to Denver schools in 2022.
