Franklin Savings Bank branch manager in Rangeley retires

Franklin Savings Bank has announced the retirement of longtime Rangeley branch manager Leeanna Wilbur and named Seth Noonkester as her successor.

“After 41 years of dedication to Franklin Savings Bank and the Rangeley community, it’s hard to imagine the Rangeley branch without Leeanna,” said Morgan Allarie, senior vice president, director of branch administration. and deposit services. “Leeanna is a sought after expert in residential and commercial lending. His banking knowledge and experience will be greatly missed by the bank and Rangeley’s customers. »

Leeanna, Vice President, joined Franklin Savings Bank in June 1981 as a teller after working at Maine National Banking for 1.5 years. In 1988, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager and Vice Presenter in 1993. During her career, Leeanna has dedicated herself to the greater Rangeley community through volunteer work. She has served on various non-profit and municipal boards or committees and currently serves on the board of the Rangeley Health and Wellness Center, among others.

In addition to work and volunteering, Leeanna is married to Bob Wilbur. Together they share two adult sons, Ryan and Chris; daughter-in-law, Rachel; and five grandchildren with a new grandchild to come later this year. Leeanna is due to retire on July 1 and we wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement.

In the meantime, Leeanna’s successor, Seth Noonkester, and their dynamic team are working closely with Leeanna to ensure a smooth transition and continue the legacy of exceptional customer and community service Leeanna leaves behind.
“Seth and the Rangeley team are dedicated to this transition.” said Allarié. “They look forward to working together and bringing the Rangeley branch into the next chapter.”

Seth assumed the position of Assistant Branch Manager earlier this year. Before joining the bank more than a year ago, he ran Titcomb Mountain in Farmington. Seth and his significant other, Sarita, and his dog, Dio, call Rangeley at home.

The Rangeley team invites anyone wishing to come and celebrate with Leeanna, Seth and the rest of the team to join them from 4-6pm on Wednesday, June 22 for refreshments and well wishes at the branch.
