Millville Savings Bank Announces New Directors and New Chairman

Millville Savings Bank announced that Robert P. Gehring and Louis L. Petrini, Sr., have been added to the Bank’s Board of Directors, and current Board Member Chuck Wyble has been named Chairman of the Board.

President and CEO David Greenfield said, “We are delighted with the additions to our Board of Directors. They will help Millville Savings Bank continually strive to meet the needs of our customers and our community. The two new directors add exceptional banking expertise that will help the bank continue to grow and progress as an independent community bank. Chuck Wyble, who served on the board for 15 years, is an excellent choice as chairman to help continue the Bank’s long tradition of being a neighborhood bank and a 5-star rated bank by BauerFinancial.

Gehring has accumulated over 45 years of commercial and real estate banking experience having worked at several chartered commercial and savings banks in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Florida and Delaware.

In addition to credit administration and management, his expertise is in commercial and real estate lending in the Delaware Valley market region, including southern New Jersey. He has held senior executive positions at banks up to $13 billion in size, including a large retail bank headquartered in Wilmington, where he served as Division Director of credit risk management division. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a credit manager at a large community bank in South Jersey.

During his career, Gehring has served on several community boards and committees, including the Community Redevelopment, Zoning and Adjustment Board and most notably, Chairman of the South Harrison Board of Education. Additionally, he was the founder of the South Harrison Alliance for Educational Excellence, a nonprofit 501(c)3 educational foundation that funded ancillary programs at the elementary level, including reading and the arts.

Petrini has over 35 years of experience in the banking sector in senior positions. His expertise encompasses many facets of banking in the South Jersey area, including loan originations, secured, unsecured, recourse and non-recourse; loan service; credit underwriting; financial analysis; collateral liquidation; and business, commercial and real estate loans. He has held management positions for several South Jersey and regional banks. Petrini is also the founding chairman of the Buena Regional Education Foundation and a past member of the NJ Association of School Business Officials and the Buena Vista Township Economic Committee Urban Loan Fund.

Wyble has lived in Millville for nearly 60 years and has over 35 years of expertise in advertising, marketing and public relations. For over 30 years he worked for Wyble Advertising, the family business located in Millville. He currently works for Clearbridge Branding Agency in Glassboro, Philadelphia and Chicago, where his advertising prowess helps the agency exceed client expectations.

Wyble served on the board of Millville Savings for 15 years. He is also currently a member of the board of directors of the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce, vice president of the Millville Army Airfield Museum and also serves on the board of the Millville Kiwanis Club.
