On World Children’s Day, NDB Bank, the pioneer of banking has once again reintroduced the art of saving to our future generation through the Shilpa Children’s Savings Account.
Under the slogan “A gift to play and a gift to study”, the Bank has always strived to make the art of saving a daily activity, while helping parents to continue the education of their young people. For example, with the Shilpa Children’s Savings Account, NDB rewards recognized exam winners for up to 90 days. Likewise, children who excel in exams such as the fifth grade scholarship exam will receive a cash reward of Rs. 100,000 each if they are ranked from 1st to 5th place, while children 6th to 10th place students will receive Rs. 50,000 each.
Meanwhile, those who excel in the GCE O / L exam will also be rewarded with Rs. 350,000 for the 1st place of all islands, 250,000 for the 2nd, 200,000 for the 3rd with Rs. 150,000 for the 4th place and 5th to 10th place Rs. 50,000 each.
The Bank is also interested in the welfare of parents and child and will therefore provide life insurance coverage for the parent / guardian based on the account balance. In addition, hospital coverage of Rs. 2,500 per day will also be provided when the benefit is doubled if the patient is in intensive care.
