Ulster Savings Bank announces three promotions

KINGSTON – Ulster Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of three team members: Timothy Kovacs, Aziz Ullah and Patti Ricci. Each of the employees was recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Timothy P. Kovacs has been named vice president of loan origination at the bank’s Kingston headquarters. Mr. Kovacs will oversee the bank’s residential lending operations and secondary marketing sales, as well as the bank’s pipeline coverage and risk management.
A resident of Kingston, Mr. Kovacs is a graduate of SUNY Ulster and a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Banking, a preeminent executive school for the financial services industry. He is also a graduate of the Ulster Leadership Development Institute, a leadership skills development program offered by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He was a bank clerk for 29 years, having started in 1993. Tim is a member of the Ulster Fire District 1 Board of Fire Marshals.

Aziz Ullah, an employee of Ulster Savings Bank since 2018, has been promoted to Commercial Banking Officer/Credit Officer at the head office in Kingston.

Mr. Ullah, a Kingston resident, will source and develop a portfolio of high quality business relationships including lines of credit, term loans and commercial real estate mortgages.
He holds a BS in Business from SUNY New Paltz and volunteers at various community events throughout the year.

Patti Ricci, who joined the Ulster Savings Bank in 1984, has been appointed assistant secretary at the bank’s headquarters in Kingston. In her new role, Ms. Ricci will work with the Board of Directors and the senior management team. She is responsible for maintaining Board records and managing their calendars.

A resident of Lake Katrine, active in the community, she volunteers with Perfect Pet Rescue and has volunteered for many community events throughout Ulster County.
